HELLO AGAIN:

I'm BACK!

Fell behind for a few years, I was so busy face booking, instagramming, and tweeting, forgot about this blog thing.

Anyway, this year has been incredible.  7.5 years after I started my own band, I spend 3 months touring in Australia last November, December and January, just released my 6th album, an EP called "SOUTHERN AMENDMENT" at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, after driving from San Francisco to Key West, FL touring through Arizona, Texas, Tennessee, and Georgia.  Last year, I got to spend September traveling and touring around Europe, performing in Paris and Grenoble, France, Belgium, Netherlands, and last but not least Dublin and west coast Ireland!

First show in Paris @ Le Brigadier, brand new restaurant!

My favorite picture of the trip, in Grenoble, France!

Amazing pizza!

Couldn't resist...they made me a sign....

My first show ever in Ireland...right here in Bunratty!

The Cliff's of Mohr, thank you kind tour guide Ger Quinn!

#gohikingireland Thanks Paul Clover for your hospitality and this amazing hike!

Me and my new friend from Chile, Maria!

Le Tour Eifel

My friend Enrique from Brussels came to Paris!

Annecy, the most magical place on earth!

This is a place I dreamt about years ago, the exact site, with postcards, cobblestone, the archway, and in my dream I was dancing with Papa Joe, and the light was shining in and we were smiling....I knew when I got here, I felt that he was smiling and dancing in heaven watching down on me.

My show in Grenoble, France~

I made it to Reno, Nevada...this will be my first time performing at THE NUGGET CASINO here in Sparks, NV, and the shows kick off this Thursday, Friday and Saturday night 8pm-Midnight.

My great friend Renee Brock picked me up from the airport last night, who actually designed my Walk of Shame album cover art, the tee shirts and the famous "Walk of Shame" panties, and it was so great to catch up with her after all these years.  She also was a doll and loaned us her vehicle for the week, so that was HUGE~ Thank you girl!
Another friend, Teddy J, has a friend who is letting us borrow his sound system, which was another prayer answered, so everything fell into place.  Unfortunately our show at the Lake Tahoe Hard Rock Cafe got cancelled today last minute, but with my hoarse voice from this weekend's shows in KEY WEST at the 20th anniversary BMI's songwriter's festival, maybe an extra day off isn't the worst thing :)

42 more days until we perform at SUMMERFEST...http://summerfest.com

2008 here I come!

Well, after a great 10 days in Georgia, vacationing at the end of the year, 2008 is finally here. I had a great time in Georgia, playing in my hometown with a friend, Byron Adams, and we had a show at Whitney's. Alot of friends came out to support us! I got to chill with the family, go hang out in downtown Athens, catch up with my dog Lollipop, eat tons of awesome food, and reminisce back on the good ole days! Then, returned to California the day after my 25th Birthday party and celebrated in San Francisco at an awesome restaurant called Cafe De La Presse and had a great French supper with close friends, (courtesy of cam, hilary, brendan, hilary) and then we went to hang out at Tiernan's Pub, irish spot near fisherman's wharf. It was so much fun! Terry the musician entertained us with his Irish style guitar playing.

For New Year's Eve, Cam, Craig, Liz, Alisha and I went to Kenny and Anita's to start out, and it's always a great party with those two. Kenny, the amazing chef, had food 0 plenty...and we sat around and played the virtual game, Rock Band. I thought I was the newest drummer...I was so hooked. We left there and went to Sarah and Henry's in the city to party with Cat, and ring in 2008. They had a huge spread of raw meats, laid out to cook fondue style, and it was a success!

Last week, I got to go up to Tahoe for the first time since last season, and Cameron and I skied with MOrgan and Brendan at Northstar. It was so beautiful, and other than the snowboarder that plowed into me and gashed open my leg, sending me up in the air to do a 360' flip, it was an awesome time. UGA beat Hawaii in their bowl game, we met a couple in the sports bar, Rookies from Atlanta (Sarah and Chris- and baby to be...) and they cheered on the Dawgs with us. This weekend, Saturday January 5th, was my first show at Johnny Foley's Irish pub with my new band PIER PRESSURE> which was awesome. We had a great crowd, lots of fun people dancing, just trying to have a great time, and we rocked the house. So far, I can't complain about the year...just gotta remember how to sell cars so I can pay for all the trips i want to take this year.

Oh yeah, my new's Year's resolutions: (almost forgot)...

So, here goes, we'll see how long these last>
1. go to the gym once per week

2. don't shop anymore for unnecessary bullcrap (no clothes, shoes, jewelry or purses for 2008)

3. get a new job

4. eat healthier

5. write more music

6. be more punctual

7. Save more money

8. cook one new dish per week

9. Learn to play the harmonica

10. Record a cd this year

11. Get up to playing 2 gigs per week

12. Travel to one new country this year (Costa Rica?)

13. Surf, mountain bike, hike, and play sports more often! (Do them once per week- at least one)

So far, that's enough. I'm lucky
